THIS CAR HAS BEEN SOLD - Please call 720-588-8427 or Email info@farlandcars.com to speak to a specialist about other options. Following the runaway success of the 911SC model and its new 3-liter OHC engine, in 1984 Porsche enlarged the engine to 3.2 and revived their hallowed 'Carerra' name for the new model. Noteworthy enhancements included reliable cam chain tensioners and much-improved air conditioning and shifting. A convertible Porsche had not been available since the '60s 356 models, so when the Cabriolet was offered it became another hit and this is one of those cars.

This example has been with the current owner for more than 30 years. The car features the original Guards Red paint. Dormant for several years, our shop has gone through the fuel system, brakes and other servicing plus cleaning the undercarriage extensively with our new dry icing service that amazingly preserves original finishes and labels. During that work, no evidence of past damage or rust was discovered (and is backed up by a clean CarFax report).

Convertible top & cover are in good condition.Other features include 928-inspired 'Phone Dial' wheel option, cruise control, original tool kit, factory A/C and electric sport seats with comfortable perforated fabric inserts. The original owner's books are in the glove box. Fun fact: as a true representative of the '80s, the car has a giant hard-wired analog phone and a power lead for an Escort radar detector! (And unlike most '80s cars, it has never been smoked in and the lighter is unused.)
