The classic 80s Mercedes-Benz is in the shop for body and paint work.

This 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL came to us from one of our best clients. When it first came in the car showed low mileage and was just stopping by for some general detailing. As our team began to get into the documentation stage, shop owner, Jack, noted some minor issues with the rear quarter panel.

The more our team dug into the rear passenger side of the vehicle, we found there were some previous repairs in the metalwork. Our team identified the passenger's rear quarter panel had been incorrectly repaired and was offset from the other bodywork to a measurable degree. We worked with our local paintless dent repair guy and determined the best method was some panel repair.

Next was a complete inspection of the paint. The customer decided with shop owner Jack to respary the whole car. After meticulous bodywork, this German classic was sent to the paint booth for a fresh coat of Mercedes Signal Red. Lots of sanding followed, as well as clear coat. Now we're reassembling this iconic Benz.
