PRE-DETAIL SNEAK PEEK – 1964 USA-spec Jaguar XKE/E-Type coupe—last year of the desirable 3.8 engine, with matching engine & cylinder head numbers.  71K actual miles (!), subject of lengthy restoration work over many years by former owner with professional paint & interior including engine overhaul.

Current owner finished the job after former’s death, with new correct wheels & tires, oversize radiator w/electric fan, much professionally-done mechanical & electrical work.

All instruments rebuilt (clock works!), beautiful interior (new wool headliner by FCR).  Car runs & drives very well, but while nice from ten feet, paint has some age cracking.
We’re going to buff it up best possible.  Attractively priced due to the paint issue at $82,500
