Iconic 70s Ferrari Daytona coupe which underwent a complete restoration.
UPDATE - This beautiful Daytona recently won First in Class, then Best in Show at the 2023 WeatherTech Concours D'Elegance at Road America - Elkhart Lake.
This classic Italian Icon is one of the latest Ferrari restorations to leave the shop. This 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 came in from a longtime customer who was ready to take this car to the top level. First up was the meticulous disassembly. A car in such great condition means lots more parts, and ensuring everything stays original, from disassembly all the way through reinstallation.
Once everything had been documented and put away for safekeeping, we worked to remove the massive 4-cam V12 from the engine bay. Our team worked diligently throughout the metalwork, bodywork and primer. The metalmaster spent countless hours ensuring body panels, doorjams, and doors showed consistent panel spacing throughout. Next was working with the underside, including respraying original Ferrari undercoating, then sealer and paint. Everything went on very smoothly. Next was completing sanding and clear coat. Finally, interior, mechanicals and reassembly.
Now this gorgeous Italian classic is back home, and spending time on the road - right where it belongs.
