Classic Muscle Car GTO Ram Air IV in for restoration and engine overhaul

Our customer's father-in-law purchased this 1969 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV new in the Summer of '69 in New York City. It is an original car with its original drivetrain. It sat in a NY garage since the mid-80's. When it arrived here, we disassembled it and started to get into some bodywork. There were some previous, dubious repairs. We fixed a rear fender and painted a replacement hood.

Next we completely took apart the engine bay to restore, as well as overhaul the Ram Air IV engine. This included many mechanical aspects, including replacing parts with correct factory ones. Now the engine and bay are looking stock, looking great and running fine. This car retains all of its original paperwork from the dealer, glove box books and maintenance records.
