1968 MORGAN PLUS 4 ROADSTER

Complete, comprehensive professional restoration just completed by a recognized Morgan specialist. Fabulous finished car that's virtually new throughout.

Stripped to bare chassis, replace structural wood framing and refinish/rebuild all undercarriage components: suspension, brakes, fuel & cooling systems

Complete rebuild of original Triumph TR-4 engine

All body work brought to as-new trueness & fit and refinished in extra-deep Morgan Connaught Green (similar to, but darker than BRG) New black top & tonneau as well

Complete interior retrim in parchment leather with new carpets & hardware

New 60-spoke wire wheels & period-correct tires

This was a US-spec car delivered new in California and always in CA, AZ, and New Mexico. No evidence of past accident damage or other problems was found and was the best possible base for a show-quality restoration. The car hits the Morgan trifecta of desirability: two seats, wire wheels, and Triumph engine. A Mog doesn't get any better and the new owner will even get to break in the fresh engine. Selling for the estate of the gentleman who commissioned the restoration and unfortunately didn't see it completed. Accompanied by a meticulous file of restoration receipts & photos.

As is usually the case with over-the-top restorations, the current market value is far less than the restoration cost, representing a terrific opportunity for the next lucky owner!

If you are considering one of the classic or collectible cars on our website, be assured that coming for a personal visit to inspect first-hand the car that has captured your fancy is very welcome. We practice transparency in all of our descriptions, but believe that nothing is as convincing as seeing and touching the car yourself. Plan a few hours, so you can see, touch, feel and drive the car, and enjoy a tour of our restoration shops to see 'where the magic happens.' If your schedule is too committed, we also welcome a knowledgeable agent visiting for you. Please understand that sales are final, so the time for all due diligence is before you buy. Our cars are sold AS-IS, since most are on consignment from owners. We follow FTC guidelines for all sales and certainly want our future clients leaving more glowing reports among our reviews!
