. It's tough to find a low-mileage 328 anymore. They are such great cars to enjoy and are an affordable entry point for a Ferrari, so people drive them. Plus, by exotic car standards, they are also affordable to maintain. This very original 1987 USA model has a clean history and has logged only 9200 miles. The well-known Maranello Motorworks, an exclusively-Ferrari, shop has just completed a full major service on the car, including timing belts, tensioners, cam seals, valve adjustment, new-style water pump and all accessory belts. The A/C compressor was rebuilt & freshly charged and the whole car inspected for any needs. We have receipts for all this work. We've invested nearly $20,000 in service and prep - so you don't have to. Another 328 would likely need all of that and more. The tires are excellent, no scraped wheels and all the interior leather is original and in excellent condition. The car has none of the troublesome '80s aftermarket gadgets like radar detectors, alarms and big stereo systems installed, which always cause dead batteries and other grief.

The car has a clean CarFax report assuring no past accident damage and the paint finish is excellent. However, a common misfortune to these cars happens when someone unfamiliar tries to close the front hood without releasing the safety catch, causing a small kink in the hood. We have decided to leave it alone so interested parties can see exactly what happened and decide whether or not they would want to fix it. The rear trunk zippered vinyl cover is in perfect shape and encloses both of the original tool kits, plus the vinyl cover for the hardtop when it is behind the seats. The tan carpets in these cars often fade to almost white with prolonged sun exposure, but this car has spent most of its life in a dark garage, so the whole interior is excellent. This car is in a real market sweet spot, not having such extraordinarily low mileage that it can't be driven and priced at a premium, nor so much mileage as to make it unattractive to most buyers. True, the '89s with their convex wheels are more valuable, but they have exactly the same engine and drive identically…for $20,000 more. This excellent specimen should be on your short list!
