Description

We're always joking that the cars seem to show up in pairs. We had the two-owner '501' Orient Red 250SL come into the shop just a few days ago and it's been followed in by this '576' Red 280SL from 1971!

Both are great examples of the multitudes of W113s still being cared for. While the 250SL is incredibly original and very well preserved, this 280SL is more of a driver, with the four speed manual. Aside from the manual gearbox, this one also features the fold-down rear seat and a cigarette lighter in the center console rather than on the dashboard. It also has the eye-catching Parchment interior. We completed an assortment of items, including some interior restoration and a comprehensive engine refresh and engine bay paint/detail/restoration.

We pulled the engine and gave it a thorough detail, clean and paint before getting the mechanicals all sorted. Now it's going home!
