Description

In the hierarchy of 930 Porsche Turbos, the '89 is the undisputed top of the desirability ladder. Not only did it benefit from all 930 development work, and is the last of the series, but it has the great G50 5-speed transmission instead of all the others' 4-speed.And the most sought-after '89 would be a completely-documented, low mileage and few-owner example in great colors…like this one! ...

The only way a 930 could be more special is if it was one of the 300-odd factory 'flachbau' steel slant-nose cars that were built…like this one! Yes, this car has the iconic 505 option code on its trunk label positively identifying it as a US-spec slant nose—along with numerous other desirable options including heated seats and G50 short-shifter.

The car was sold new in Miami, lived in Tennessee a few years before migrating back to Florida by way of Georgia. It relocated to Colorado twenty years ago, so has never been in the Midwest 'rust belt' and its clean CarFax report assures a no-accident history and confirms the 36K miles as actual. That's called 'ticking all the boxes!'The Porsche-collector owner had the engine professionally rebuilt with OEM parts to assure a leak- and trouble-free example 4K miles ago and the original black paint was stripped and refinished to make the car as-new again. It is doubtful there is a nicer 930 sunroof coupe out there.

Extras include the 17” Fuchs-style wheels, plus the original set of 16” Fuchs wheels are included. The current steering wheel is a RUF model, but the original comes with purchase. All recent servicing has been done by a factory Porsche dealer familiar with 930s. Complete with all the trunk tools, jack, tire inflator and manual plus two keys, this will be a very difficult car to improve upon.
