Very rare Amphicar 770 in for bodywork
Fascinating late 60s boat/car produced by Amphicar. As you can see in the photos, driving a car in water isn't great for bodywork! We are addressing some rusted panels, as well as going over the whole car. These are remarkable little classics. The model name of 770 means 7 knots on the water, and 70 on land!
As you can see in the photos, the rear fenders were in very rough shape. Parts are hard to find, and our metal guys are the best around, so we just made new panels. Perfect fit and finish. Primer is on and it's time to decide on a color!
Stay tuned as we get this seagoing classic in great shape!
