Track-proven 1973 Porsche 911 RS Tribute in for restoration.
While we don't often get our hands on “race cars” this project was too good for our team to pass up. This classic 1973 Porsche 911T spent many years sitting in boxes before the current owner picked the car up in the early 2000s and began getting the car back together as a 1972 Carrera RS tribute. Over the last 18 years this Porsche has seen extensive racing experience at events like the Rennsport Reunions and many track days at prominent tracks around the United States.
The car is incredibly original, with no indications of body damage. Our restoration team has been cleaning it up and addressing the few minor body issues around the car. While the restoration team is saving a few of the stickers from this stripped livery, the paint team is getting into proper texturing, door jams, and ensuring this classic in Guards Red has the looks to match its historical racing pedigree. We're now getting through paintwork as we prepare to hand it off to our detailer extraordinaire.
We're also working on the undercarriage - fixing up old dings and the like. Then we will spray on factory undercoating - but with a bit of a custom appearance - we'll go Guards Red instead of black!
