An example of our shop's metal and bodywork on this classic Porsche 356.
This Classic Porsche was involved in an accident, damaging the right front corner. It's an excellent example of our sophisticated metal and bodywork in the shop. First we carefully disassembled the car, then stripped additional paint where needed. From there, we fit a new part with bodywork, then leading. Finally, we primed and painted. Our goal is to make an invisible repair to last the life of the car.
The Porsche 356 was designed by Ferry Porsche (Ferdinand's son). He found that having a smaller car with a bigger engine was better than a big car with a big engine. With that in mind he created the 356. It had a 4 cylinder that was air cooled mounted in the rear with rear wheel drive. Of the 4 types of 356, this particular car is a 356 B with 30,963 made of those between 1959 and 1963.
