Iconic European Microcar - BMW Isetta in for electrical and interior work.
The BMW isetta was an icon of its era. This classic microcar was built by a few different manufacturers throughout the late 1950s and early 1960s with some small variations between brands. To this day the Isetta continues to be the most sold single-cylinder car of all time. Many nowadays know the Isetta as the 'Urkel-mobile'. The final iterations were built by BMW.
This car was recently purchased by a new owner. On the drive home the seat made contact with the battery and caused a small electrical fire, to which the owner responded “did I do that?” Of course, this was a previously mishandled repair by another shop and now our techs will be carefully rewiring this micro-classic.
