This is a very interesting and rare car that was originally built in Lakewood, Colorado.
Bob Carnes (Bo-Car) built a series of Bocar racing and touring cars in the late 1950s and 1960s.
They were remarkably light, and high-powered in most cases, using an assortment of muscle car engines.
They also enjoyed many racing successes (2nd in Daytona) and speed records.
This example is an XP-4.
It's one of the rarer, earlier models.
It may be the earliest example of a Bocar that still exists.
We are in the process of doing a complete restoration on this Colorado classic.
One funny note - the serial number for this rarity is 002.
