Completed Project - intensive paint restoration on this Porsche 911 Turbo

Truly a showstopper, this 1978 Porsche 911 Turbo in black over black came in for a complete paint restoration from our experts. Click through the photos and you'll see the flaws. After the photos of the car being washed you can see the close-up under the driver's mirror.This paint had some consistent issues throughout the entire body. Against the light's reflection you can see what look like little dimples. This is not consistent with original Porsche paint, so Jack took off! Jack's years of experience show through here. Using just the right pressure to pull those dimples without going through the original Porsche paint.

The next few photos show Jack polishing the door, with a few different pads, and of course he had to look over the master's work. He also got the turbo flares, working to get years of dust, dirt and debris out of the textured material.We followed the general paint restoration with some specific work on the rear wing and vent as well as the front air dam. Next up was ceramic coating.

This process creates a very thin and very hard coating over the paint surface, repelling dirt and contaminants for months and months.Now that we've finished up with this classic Porsche we've sent it back home for the owner to enjoy.
