Completed - Mercedes-Benz 220S Cabriolet in for mechanical and paint refresh.

This is a beautiful classic Mercedes that we restored more than 10 years ago. It has been in the same family since new, so it's not just pretty, it's sentimental as well. It came in for some mechanical service as the car is driven quite often down in sunny New Mexico.

On top of the mechanical work, we also are doing a paint refresh. Not an uncommon task when a car is enjoyed as much as this one is. Our technicians did a bit of sanding and extensive prep before applying paint. Then it was many stages of sanding. They also did a complete session of guide coat on the car. That's the hazy white powder you can see in some of the photos. It's a way to get a car completely 'flat' as we say. Meaning it guides the technician to get everything completely smooth.
