Super clean 964 Turbo in for a complete repaint
The paint on this very low mileage 1991 Porsche Turbo was damaged by acid rain which left the finish pitted. Once the decision was made to do a total repaint with Farland Classic Restoration, we did a "wheels off" cleaning and then proceeded to take the car completely apart.
Once bodywork and paint were completed, it was sanded and polished to look like glass. No more orange peel. All new rubber trim and lenses were installed. The result: a car that looks better than it did brand new. Upon completion we showed the car at the Porsche Parade national event at Keystone resort in Colorado. The car took first in class with an excellent score of 233.4 out of 235.
Not bad for its first major competition. The people loved the paint and color combination.
