THIS CAR HAS BEEN SOLD - Please call 720-588-8427 or Email info@farlandcars.com to speak to a specialist about other options. Maserati changed high-end European sedans from S500 Mercedes' conservative look to an all-new Italian imagery, full of soft beautiful leather, exquisite detailing and a focus on performance. That performance came from a Ferrari-built engine with the latest F1 6-speed transmission and an amazing near-50/50 weight distribution (same as a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti), achieved by placing the engine behind the front wheel centerline. The car looked, felt and drove like a 4-door Ferrari!

This modern Maserati classic was ordered new by a long-time enthusiast with several vintage Maserati models in his collection and is a personal friend of many of Maserati's legendary figures (Adolfo Orsi, Pannini brothers, etc). He chose all the best options, including the rarely-seen $4500 Sport Package that included larger wheels, drilled brake rotors and titanium-colored calipers. The Ivory leather and full Alcantara headliner are set off with contrasting stitching, mahogany wood dash and a glass sunroof, plus heated front & rear seats. There is absolutely no shrinkage on the special-ordered dark blue leather dash and the Bose sound system is terrific. (See original window sticker in the pictures).

It has been a one-owner, never smoked in and well-maintained by Maserati specialists. Recent work has included a new A/C compressor and battery.A recent dealer service showed nearly 60% clutch life remaining, so it's clear the car has been properly driven during its 50K miles. It has the red cam covers that indicate an engine specially tuned for the F1 transmission, instead of the blue covers on softer, automatic transmission-destined engines. Complete with all the original owner's books, two keys, navigation discs and trunk accessories so often missing. Many of the 2005 Quattroportes were built with few options to keep the MSRP about $100K, but you can see this car listed 20% higher! It is one of the heaviest-optioned '05s you'll find and is a fabulous value today for only $16,500.
