Mustang Coupe - Built 390 Engine - Ready for your own personal touch!
An original 1968 Mustang coupe modded with a built-up 390 & C6 automatic. The engine features Edelbrock RPM Performer aluminum heads, Isky torquer cam, an Edelbrock RPM Performer intake breathing through a 650 cfm Edelbrock AVS2 carburetor and K&N low-restriction filter. Topped off with finned Edelbrock aluminum valve covers, hi-flow water pump, MSD electronic ignition, tube headers with shorty Flowmasters and kept cool with a new all-aluminum thick-core radiator & auxiliary fan.
Other tricks include a 7-quart Milodon oil pan, balanced aluminum drive shaft, 8-inch rear end, subframe stiffeners and Bilstein shocks. The car runs strong on pump gas and is a low profile sleeper that goes like a rocket. Traction is handled by 235/55 radials on 10”-wide chrome US Mag 20s.
