First-year Stingray in good, solid condition, needing some light restoration work—a great Do-It-Yourself or father/son project car. Runs & drives fine, has always been licensed & in use—not in a barn and full of mice! Engine is tight & quiet, good brakes & suspension plus recent new tires. Texas-Colorado car, so all the ferrous bits underneath aren't rusted or corroded. Has the original 300-horsepower engine with correct VIN stamp on block, has always been triple black and a factory hardtop is also included. Along with the tires, a new master cylinder & alternator have recently been installed. There're plenty of chores remaining, but none will keep you from enjoying the car while spiffing it up. The paint is a respray that wasn't bad when applied, but now has numerous chips & flaws, but the body isn't cracked anywhere (!).

The bumpers have great chrome, the glass is fine, original hubcaps are not scraped up and previous owners kept it stock—no aftermarket pipes, incorrect manifolds or other modifications. The black soft top is quite nice with a clear window, but the hardtop's window is crazed and cracked. Hardtop gaskets, etc need repair. The carpets are original but weak, the dash pad is cracked and the instruments are a bit faded. The seats look like they had an interior kit installed some years back and are OK, not great. Again, you could take it to Cars & Coffee THIS weekend and gradually improve the car while watching it grow in value.
