If you've been following the prices of 2+2 Ferraris for the past five years, they have steadily matured far out of the sub-$100K bargain basement and, depending on the model, are now two-to-three times that amount. Ironically, the last of the breed, the 412, is a far more sophisticated automobile (4-cam engine, fuel injection, independent rear suspension, A/C that works) than the earlier models and is also the most affordable! Most were built with a sluggish General Motors 3-speed automatic transmission, but historians report fewer than 100 had Ferrari's own 5-speed manual gearbox.

The 412s also offer ABS brakes, full power seat adjustments, load-leveling suspension and a truly luxury ambiance with the panache of a true Enzo-era V12 experience. This particular car was fully federalized when imported as a new car, lived its life in Texas and Arizona avoiding any salty roads, and was well cared for by enthusiast owners. It has been refinished once in its original Argento silver paint and the original deep blue leather interior is spectacular. It is complete with its original books, pouch and tools and only has 46K miles. The car has recently had a full servicing, the rear height control system rebuilt and new Michelins mounted. It runs great, drives superbly and today only costs half as much as a 330GT!
