Classic Ferrari 308GTS in Black over Red. Full restoration done here at the shop
This Ferrari came in a few years back for a thorough restoration to repair body issues and replace the interior back to factory specifications. The original work included getting the body perfected, and a new interior installed to factory specs.
This is the last year of the carbureted 308s, with performance roughly equivalent to the later QVs. Our technicians completed reassembly after bodywork, paint, and a serious amount of metal work. Much of which was repairing some old issues from previous repairs. We were up against the clock on this one, as we had to get the car on a truck headed for Pebble Beach and the Concorso Italiano 2017. Every bit and piece had to be sourced or refinished. Our techs spent hours and hours getting this assembled in a fraction of the usual time. And of course, getting it done right.
Recently in 2021, it came back for a bit of fluid maintenance, flushing the transmission and getting the pan resealed to fix ongoing leaks. There's not many times when we don't end up doing many detailing duties when a car is in, but this one had been kept in great condition since we last saw it!
