Simply beautiful 1966 Porsche 911 in Polo Red - in for interior and more

This classic Porsche came in as many piles of parts. From a frunk full of floormats, suspension parts, to a special hand-delivery of the engine. While the owner had told us this was a 1968 Porsche 911, when it arrived at the shop we had quite a few eyes looking it over. Almost immediately we couldn't help but notice the incredible resemblance to our 1966 currently for sale over on the site. The more we dug into the car the more we saw it was not a 1968, but an earlier example.

It included the one-year-only wooden steering wheel and the small 911 badging on the rear decklid much like our 1966. It also boasted the ever-important Karrosserie tag on the drivers' door. This was our indicator that helped us to identify the approximate age of this car and ensured the original color was correct.

While we believe the car has seen a repaint at some point in its life it still shows the Polo red color as originally optioned. Once the engine and transmission come out we'll be able to dig more into this classic 911 and get it back onto the road soon enough!
