Muscle Car Royalty, this 2016 Shelby GT350R came in for dealer prep

The Shelby GT350 R was a step in a different direction for Ford. The car features a 5.2L flat plane crank V8 which is something never put into a Mustang previously. The result of that is a redline of 8250 RPM, 526 horsepower, and a nearly endless powerband while being mated to a standard 6 speed manual gearbox. The R package is an even more hardcore package on top of the already crazy GT350 including: a new front splitter and rear deck spoiler for better downforce, carbon fiber wheels as standard, a flat bottom steering wheel, removing the air conditioning, stereo system, rear seats, trunk floorboard, backup camera, and even the emergency tire sealer and inflator all in the name of lightness and speed.

The result is that the R weighs 130 pounds less than the normal GT350. Our customer just took delivery of this particular Shelby GT-350 R. He decided to not have the selling dealer perform the PDI (pre-delivery inspection). Instead, we performed the PDI, along with photographing, documenting and saving all of the original shipping decals and labels in a binder for our customer to keep. Then we performed some of our magical detailing.
