Classic 1967 Shelby GT350 in for mechanical fix
Here at Farland Classic Restoration we finish the last 5% of a classic car restoration that most shops can't complete. This classic Shelby GT350 muscle car is a good example of that. This well-loved rarity has been having some oil pan issues as of late. Thankfully, it was not leaking, but it was eating oil dipsticks!
When the car came to us, the local owner was being abundantly cautious and sent it over on a flatbed. When our team pulled the dipstick and inspected the underside of the vehicle, we found that the original style dipstick guide had been bent in such a way that it was feeding the dipstick into the crankshaft, causing the broken dipstick the owner found. Now that we've replaced the oil dipstick and found the proper dipstick guide tube, this stallion is ready to roll.
